Rental Housing Inspections
Regularly inspecting your units for damage is an important part of the rental process whether you have long-term tenants or are getting the units in top condition for your next tenant. Identifying potential issues early on allows you to address them when the cost is still low, before they grow to be an expensive and time-consuming repair.
On September 27th from 6:30 - 8:30pm, RHAWA will be featuring Bryan Mize of Optimized Inspection Services on our CONNECT Forum to answer any and all of your questions. This open Q&A with someone with over 20 years of experience not only as an inspector but also an investor, broker, and loan officer is an excellent opportunity to get answers from someone with a wealth of firsthand experience. Best of all, this opportunity is FREE for RHAWA members!

Bryan has over 20 years of experience as a real estate investor, loan officer, and a licensed home inspector. He has been trained by professional residential building inspectors to recognize the more common issue long before you ever have to pay for an inspection. Bryan has also been involved in the complete rehabilitation of three of his own homes - invaluable experience.
Bryan has been a Washington State licensed home inspector (WSHI #750) since 2010 and was one of the first private inspectors to be authorized as a Seattle rental inspector by the City of Seattle when their Rental Registration & Inspection (RRIO) code went into effect. Bryan has been doing Seattle rental inspections since the program began and is intimately familiar with the area. He is also an authorized private inspector for the City of Tukwila program. He has seen the program from the other side of the fence as both a property manager and landlord himself in addition to rehabilitating multiple homes.
