Automatic Registration in Legislative Session Events

  • Briefing Room – Get ready, advocates! The 2024 Legislative Session is quickly approaching, and lawmakers will be making decisions regarding many important landlord/tenant issues. 2024 is a short legislative session, meaning that lawmakers only spend 60 days in the office voting on and discussing legislation. This weekly briefing room event will allow our government affairs staff and lobbyists to:

    • Discuss proposed bills and how you may be able to influence your representatives as they consider which to endorse.

    • Assist you with signing up for your remote committee testimony.

    • Help you to prepare your speaking points and review your testimony.

    • Talk to elected officials and other industry influencers.

    • Get your questions answered.

  • Virtual Hearing Green Rooms – Staff and lobbyists will be available to consult with you in the Virtual Hearing Green Room throughout the session. They can assist you with signing up for your remote committee testimony and help you prepare your speaking points prior to your appointment.

  • Session Recap – This event will discuss the 2024 Legislative Session from start to finish. We will be going over our hardest fights, biggest wins, and key takeaways. Don't miss this opportunity to peek behind the curtain and figure out not just what happened, but why it happened. Learn what messaging is effective and how we can bolster our grassroots advocacy efforts. We will also be talking about what comes next, and how to prepare for the upcoming elections.
