RHAWA is thrilled to announce our much-anticipated annual Spring Workshop + Tradeshow (SWTS). We can't wait to share all the exciting details with you!
This is your best opportunity to get important information for your rental business from across the industry in a single day! Hear from housing providers, property managers, attorneys, financial experts, and more to build your knowledge base and run your rental properties with confidence.
Whether you want to make sure you're complying with all of the laws in your area, find out more about investment opportunities, or make some valuable connections with RHAWA vendors to bolster your rental network, we've got you covered!
Convenient Location!
This year, we're returning to host the SWTS at the same charming Cedarbrook Lodge near SeaTac. Last year attendees raved about the beautiful lodge which offered warm rustic scenery, delectable cuisine, and, most importantly, a day of education and fun.
The Cedarbrook Lodge, easily accessible by I-5 or Hwy 99, is located at 18525 36th Ave S, SeaTac, WA. They can boast IACC certification, large floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light, free on-site parking, and delicious food for the entire day. Doors will open at 8:00 AM and when you arrive there will be coffee, tea, and continental breakfast waiting in the vendor hall before the conference formally commences.

Have you ever wanted to test your knowledge of the rental housing world in the form of a gameshow?
Well now is your chance! Be prepared to put your brain to the test in this fun and exciting addition to the SWTS 2024! This year, we're spicing up our workshops with a playful twist—introducing an interactive Jeopardy-style game that will challenge you and your peers to be the quickest at answering questions about current Washington and local rental laws.With points, sweets, prizes, and the pride of teamwork at stake, you'll be driven to learn and retain essential knowledge vital for every rental housing provider in Washington.

What's included?
This year, we kickstart the workshop at 9:00 AM with a captivating Keynote panel discussion featuring RHAWA Board President Sean Flynn, Kaitlyn Jackson, and other esteemed experts who will provide a comprehensive legislative update from the 2024 State Legislative Session. They will cover crucial topics, including decisions made by local government councils that directly affect you as a small housing provider, and offer valuable insights into what lies ahead for the rest of the year.
Following the panel discussion, our breakout sessions will begin, organized into three separate tracks:
- Property Management,
- Tenant Law
- Business.
There will be three one-hour breakout sessions for each track, providing 12 hours of education delivered by RHAWA's most popular instructors. To ensure you don't miss out on valuable insights, we'll provide attendees with presentation slides and audio recordings of each session for future reference.
Additionally, don't miss out on our educational activities, including a practice session for testifying to lawmakers and Trivia Game Show available throughout the day. These fun and interactive experiences offer another way to delve deeper into laws and best practices for housing providers. It's a perfect blend of entertainment and knowledge, making learning about rental housing engaging and enjoyable for everyone!
