RHAWA Team Transition: Luke Brown Departs for MBA, Daniel Klemme Steps into Sales & Sponsorship Role

The Rental Housing Association of Washington (RHAWA) bids a fond farewell to Luke Brown, our Marketing & Sales Associate, as he prepares to embark on an exciting new chapter—pursuing an MBA at UC San Diego. Luke’s last day will be June 30, 2026, marking the close of nearly four dynamic years with RHAWA since joining in November 2022.
A California native with a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Washington, Luke brought fresh energy and relentless dedication to his role. What began as his first professional step post-college quickly evolved into a tenure marked by growth—both for RHAWA and for Luke himself. His sharp instincts in business development, honed through early experiences in property management and retail, helped expand our membership base and forge lasting partnerships.
“Working at RHAWA has been an incredible journey,” Luke shared. “I’ve learned so much from this team and our members, and I’m excited to take these lessons with me as I move forward. While I’ll miss the daily grind here, I’m eager to dive into this next challenge.”
Stepping into Luke’s role is Daniel Klemme, RHAWA’s Policy & Partnership Coordinator since the 2024 merger with the Landlord Association of the Inland Northwest. A veteran advocate, Daniel’s work spans nonprofit housing solutions for Veterans to systemic homelessness strategies on Spokane’s Continuum of Care board. His dual expertise in policy and grassroots engagement makes him uniquely suited to advance RHAWA’s vendor and sponsorship outreach.
“Luke’s contributions have been invaluable,” Daniel said. “I’m energized to deepen the relationships he’s built.”
While Luke’s departure is bittersweet, the transition underscores RHAWA’s strength: a team where passion and expertise intersect. Vendors are encouraged to reach out to Daniel at dklemme@RHAwa.org for collaboration opportunities.
Join us in wishing Luke the very best as he embarks on this exciting new chapter. As we bid Luke farewell with gratitude, we welcome Daniel’s vision—proving RHAWA’s legacy thrives in capable hands.
