Event Details

With the passing of SB 5160, the Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) in each County will begin playing a key role with service of any 14-Day Pay Rent or Vacate Notice to tenants once the emergency moratorium is lifted. Housing providers will now be required to serve an Eviction Resolution Program (ERP) notice to both the tenant and the County DRC concurrently with any 14-day Pay Rent or Vacate Notice. DRC specialists will then attempt to contact the tenant in order to initiate a dialog to resolve tenant debt. Marilyn Littlejohn, Community Engagement Specialist at the King County DRC will introduce us to the new process and answer your questions.

This session is presented ONLINE ONLY.
