With new laws in effect, what are the requirements and best practices for working with these tenants in significant rental arrears? With the goal of keeping renters in their homes, most counties still have funding available to provide rental assistance, and the state Landlord Mitigation Fund has additional funds available to landlords in certain circumstances.  Christopher Cutting, attorney and RHAWA Vice President, will take you through the process of offering payment plans to tenants and working with the new Eviction Resolution Program and Landlord Mitigation Program to resolve your tenant’s rent debt. He will also review the theoretical process for eviction if all other measures fail.
