If Your Current Tenant Has Pastdue Rent
Before you can serve a 14-day Pay Rent or Vacate Notice, the county where the property is located must attest that they have operational programs for 1) Rental Assistance; and 2) Eviction Resolution Program (ERP) mediation services. If your tenant vacated your property owing rent
You can apply for up to $15,000 of past due rent through the Landlord Mitigation Fund. A separate relief program for low-income landlords is also available.
